Terms and Conditions
Prices:
All
prices are quoted net FOB Lindenhurst,
NY. All prices are shown in U.S.
currency. Prices are subject to change at any time without prior notice. You
will be notified of any price change at time of order. Prices do not include
shipping and handling unless specifically noted.
Payment:
Acceptable forms of payment are limited to:

Personal checks will be accepted as payment only
after the funds have cleared. All merchandise remains the property of East
Coast Induction Systems until payment is finalized. Deposits may be required
for special order items.
Shipping:
All items will be shipped FedEx Ground or US Postal Services, unless prohibited
by size, weight or content in which case a motor freight carrier will be used.
Expedited shipping may be available at additional cost upon request. Shipping
costs posted on our Web site are for Ground Shipping cost to the lower 48 US
states. Additional costs will apply
for all other areas. You will be
contacted of these additional charges, for approval, before the order is processed.
Returns:
ECIS will not accept unauthorized returns. If you need to return an item,
please contact us prior to doing so. If conditions for product return as stated
below are met, we will issue you a return authorization number that must be
clearly marked on your return package. With the exception of returns caused by
our error, shipping costs for returned items will be buyer's responsibility. To
receive a refund or credit, returned items must be in
original packaging, unused, in original condition and received by ECIS within 30
days of your original receipt of the product. No credit will be issued for
damaged, installed or deformed items. Items will be inspected prior to
issuance of any refund or credit. Special order items and electrical parts cannot
be returned unless they are defective. All returned items are subject to a 20%
restocking charge unless return was caused by our error.
Damaged Items:
ECIS and its suppliers deliver merchandise to carriers properly protected and
packaged. Therefore, damage in transit is the responsibility of the carrier. If
a package appears damaged when you receive it, indicate the condition of the
package (i.e., specific damage) on your receipt from the carrier along with
your signature. If damage is discovered after opening the package, notify the
carrier immediately. Claims for damage must be handled through the carrier, not
ECIS. If necessary, we will assist you in any claim to the degree practical.
Limited Warranty: All new parts are guaranteed to be first
quality merchandise. Defective
merchandise must be returned at customer’s expense for replacement. We will replace all defective parts which
were purchased new, but cannot accept responsibility for inconvenience or
losses occasioned by their use.
There is no warranty if parts have become defective due to faulty
installation or if they have been abused in any way. Parts must be installed by a certified
technician. “Do it Yourself” installations are not recommended. All warranties and/or guarantees are
voided if products have not been installed properly by a qualified licensed
auto mechanic experienced in the installation of the product(s). There is no warranty, expressed
or implied for any parts (including new parts) or work used for competition, or
track driving school events. There
is no warranty on electrical parts.
Certain products carry a manufacturer’s warranty. All new parts, with the exception of
electrical parts, high performance products and products already carrying a
manufacturer’s warranty will be warranted against manufacturing defects
only for 6 months from the date of sale. Customer shall notify East Coast
Induction Systems within 10 days of discovery of any such defects. We reserve the right to withhold refund
until the defective part has been examined and tested. ECIS is not responsible for shipping
costs on items returned under this limited warranty. East Coast Induction Systems is not
responsible for labor charges due to incorrect installation or faulty or
defective parts Please inspect items carefully before installation!
Product Use:
Many products sold by ECIS may
not be DOT, TUV or C.A.R.B. approved for highway use on public roads.
These products are designed for show, off-road or racing applications only.
It is the sole and complete responsibility of the buyer to ensure that their
vehicles meet all federal, state and local laws and regulations. Buyer assumes
all liability and risk associated with the use of high performance products
and holds East Coast Induction Systems and its owners harmless of any liability.
The Customer
shall inspect and accept or reject acceptance of the Terms and Conditions of
this sale immediately upon the arrival of the shipment, and shall, within three
(3) working days after this arrival, give written notice to ECIS of any claim
that the Terms and Conditions set forth herein are not acceptable. The Customer
expressly waives any right they may have to revoke acceptance after such
three-day period.
Fraudulent Orders:
We will seek to prosecute any and all fraudulent transactions. We use all
means necessary to convict including recording of IP addresses. All
fraudulent orders will be filed with the IFCC (Internet Fraud
Complaint Center).
The Internet Fraud Complaint Center (IFCC) is a partnership between the Federal
Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C).

Applicability: These
Terms and Conditions are applicable to all order placed by the customer, whether
online on ECIS’s web site or by telephone,
including all future orders.
